04/24/20 - Fog experimentation!
This week, I tried using SandParticle as a skybox as a recommendation, but this seemed to generate an error. I would first get a black skybox, and then any movement would cause glitching (repetition of objects in the world). I could potentially make use of skybox glitching down the road, though, if I figure out a way to swap skyboxes intentionally to mess with the player.
Here is an example of intentionally messing with glitches by trying other materials.
I tried fixing floor/eye level changer. It normally starts at eye level, so I tried starting with floor as default and switching to eye. Switching still did not work.
I also tried playing around with changing the code and looking at different classes and variables. My changes compile without errors, but don't see to do anything. Not worrying about it for now.
Got gravity switcher working by accessing player input variables using GetComponent method instead of “Public [scriptname] [_scriptname]”. Not sure why latter method didn’t work.
I ended up disabling part of gravity switcher, as turning on gravity now renders player immobile somehow.
Still figuring out particle system. Looking into ways to have fog follow player.
